Your campaign link
Add your destination and campaign name to create a labeled Instagram link.
One campaign. Clear placement labels.
Keep a campaign name consistent, then use separate bio and Story links to see which placement brought a visit in compatible analytics.
UTM tags label traffic for a compatible analytics setup. This tool does not shorten links, collect click counts, or prove a sale or signup.
A small label makes a link easier to measure.
Imagine you are promoting a spring launch from both your profile and a Story. Keep the same campaign name for both, then use a different content label for each placement. Your destination’s reporting can distinguish those tagged arrivals if its analytics supports UTM parameters.
An Instagram bio link example
https://example.com/links?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=spring_launch&utm_content=bioThis is an illustrative URL. The source is Instagram, the medium is social, the campaign is spring_launch, and the placement is bio. The builder uses lowercase and underscores so the same campaign is less likely to split into several naming variations.
Check the full journey, not just the tap.
Open the finished link on a phone, confirm the page loads, and test the next action. Look for tagged visits in the destination’s acquisition reporting. Confirm a completed signup, booking or purchase separately in the system that handles it.

Common questions
What is an Instagram UTM link?
It is your normal destination URL with campaign labels added. This builder sets utm_source to instagram, utm_medium to social, utm_campaign to your initiative, and utm_content to the placement plus an optional content label. A compatible analytics setup on the destination can use those values to group visits.
Does this tool track clicks or connect to Instagram?
No. It builds the URL in your browser without connecting to an Instagram account or visiting the destination. You need compatible analytics at the destination to read campaign results. A tagged visit is not proof of a unique person, purchase or signup.
Can I use a tagged URL in a Reel?
A UTM label does not make caption text clickable. Use a supported clickable placement, such as your profile bio or a Story link, for the Reel campaign. Label the link to match your campaign and keep a record of where you actually placed it.
What happens to tags already in my URL?
Existing parameters whose names begin with utm_ are replaced by the four labels from this builder. Other query parameters and any section anchor are preserved. Start with a clean public destination URL and test the generated link before sharing it.
Is the builder free?
Yes. Generating and copying a campaign link requires no account or card. It works with public website URLs, including sites hosted elsewhere. BrandPage’s separate page builder offers a free private preview and draft; publishing a BrandPage requires a paid plan.
